The “King of Visas”, this visa is for the most highly qualified applicants.

 

It is generally considered for actors, singers, dancers, athletes, professors, researchers and executives. Among them, only executives need not be considered famous.

 

If the reader or someone s/he knows has some of the following qualifications s/he may be classified as an alien of extraordinary ability and be fast tracked for a green card:

 

1) Highly remunerated compared to other in his/her field in his/her location;

2) Has more than ten years experience in the field of expertise;

3) Has written scholarly articles in publications dedicated to the field;

4) Has articles written about him/her in such publications;

5) Has served as a judge on a panel of judges for others in the field of expertise;

6) Is a member of a group whose association requires a significant contribution to the field of expertise;

7) Has received awards/stipends for his/her contribution to the field;

8) Has invented something significant in the field;

 

This list is not exhaustive and there may be other indicia of significant contributions to the field of expertise. This office has performed these applications for engineers, scientists, actors, artisans, artists and designers.
